Alexia Lepont, Founder and CEO of Botanical ID, holds a Master degree in Agriculture. With more than 15 years of experience in botanical products in animal nutrition, she successively worked in quality, R&D and production. She is now specialised in regulatory affairs where she has developed a unique expertise. As a pioneer, she carried out the EU registration of the very first plant extract additive or botanical feed additive as a flavouring substance. On the export front, she got approved over 200 botanical products, in more than 30 major territories. In addition, she also has expertise in designing and drafting evidence files for the substantiation of claims in animal nutrition.
Alexia Lepont is a member of EFFSACO (European Federation of Food Safety Consultants).

Regulatory affairs officer
Hélène Esselin holds a PhD in Chemistry. With experience in plant extraction, characterization and valorization, she brings in-depth knowledge of phytochemistry and valuable experience in the valorization of plant extracts for animal nutrition. She wanted to specialize in the regulation of botanical products in animal feed.
Her academic and professional career is a reflection of her passion for plants and scientific innovation and will be an undeniable asset to Botanical ID.
